The second half of the combo is perfect against ground wake up OD/Super/Drive Reversals. Beware of OD/Super DP type reversals that make the opponent airborn, it will mostly not punish you but you will not be able to hit (even if you could technically hit anyway just if you do the punch move very late after the charged jump).
